In Creator's Hands You May Rest Peacefully
My Beloved Addison
(Son-Son the Gray Rabbit)

I just want to say that I love my pets coz I feel the comfort and love from them, I really really love them so much as they are already a part of the family. And it really saddened me when one of them will bid goodbye :( Today it's Son-Son (Addison) who goes home into our Creator's home in heaven. I know he's happy now in the Garden of Heaven together with his wifey Cush-Cush (Cushing the White Rabbit) who passed away last February 14, 2012 and two of his little angel rabbit daughters/sons who are also in heaven now.

I just want to share with you the story of my beloved, cute, cuddly, rabbits to where I first met them.

It was on February 25, 2011 Friday Morning, me and my friends (Joy and Rose Ann) went to Quiapo church to attend a mass. For those who didn't know, every Friday is Quiapo Day or Black Nazarene day so it's expected that there are many devotees of the church came to attend a mass. On our way to the church there's a market that you'll be passing by (if you where from the LRT station). As usual the place was so crowded and there were lots of vendors, buyers, stambay/mandurukot/holdaper/kidnaper/etc, and church goers. Then straight away, like it's been destined, a vendor showed up with an unusual item she’s selling. It was these cute little bunnies inside a container, more or so 100 of them and some are above the container like for a display to attract buyers. How could you resist these cute innocent little bunnies, maybe a month old or two, so we stopped for a while to check them out. At that instant I really really wanted to buy them already (and also Rose Ann who is also a pet lover wanted to buy a couple too) but the dilemma is that we’re still going to the church to attend a mass and there are crowded people inside and how can we bring them there if we did buy them already, and if not, what if the vendor was already gone after we go to the church. So it took a while before we have decided. Guess what? We bought the rabbits first and then we go the church with them. The little rabbits truly are irresistible especially to us pet lovers. Rose Ann picked a couple of rabbits both white in color. First I picked was the Gray one because it’s like a cute staff toy with gray husky-like fur and it happened to be a male rabbit after the vendor checked his sex organ. So I have to choose next is a female rabbit. There were lots of cute bunnies to choose with different color patterns but I was thinking that I should pick the pure ones (those who have only one color which I’m referring to as pure ones) so picked the white little bunny with a ruby-color eye. Then after we choose our new pets they were placed in a small box of Zesto Juice Drink with several punctured holes into them for ventilation purpose. But we were still worried whether if they could survive in that condition adding the fact that we were still be going inside the church with crowded people, would they live? When we were already inside the church already as we thought it’s really crowded so we frequently checked the little rabbits in the small box if they were still alive and breathing, fortunately yes they were still moving inside maybe stressed by the environment. The mass was ended and the blessing with Holy Water would be the next as it is the tradition in Quiapo church and other churches. Our place became more crowded as the people tries to get near to those gave the blessing. So what we did, to the box where our rabbits were placed, was that we held them high over our heads so that they will also be blessed. We are thinking at that moment that the blessing is their way of Baptism and so Rose Ann and Joy became the ninang (Godmother) of my two rabbits which I named Cushing (Cush-Cush the White Female Rabbit) and Addison (Son-Son the Gray Male Rabbit).

I LOVE them so much and I will never forget them for my entire life together with the many of my pets (cats, ducks, chicks, snake, fishes, hamsters, and a mouse) who have already gone by.
